Nutrition Services


Welcome to the Nutrition for Bodyworkers Certification Program. Enclosed please find the full class list with dates, overall syllabus, and registration form. We look forward to a very exciting year of classes and to seeing you. Please let us know how we may assist you further.

Tuition payments can be made in the following options:

A) Pay in full 1350.00 with a deposit of 200.00 by August 15th and the remaining balance of 1150.00 due by September 23rd (the first day of class)

B) Pay in four installments of with a deposit of 200.00 ny August 15th. This has a 5% interest fee included.

C) There is a Career Loan from Sallie Mae Loan Servicing also available as an option. This is a deferred loan with interest rate based on credit history.

Continuing Education
Nutrition for Bodyworkers Class:

Show your clients how they can incorporate basic nutrition principles to increase health, energy, mood or achieve weight loss. Understand the healing capabilities of foods and learn which foods & supplements will alleviate common health conditions & decrease pain & inflammation. Learn the role of good digestion in health and how to naturally support or restore digestive health.

The nutrition consultant certification program provides students with an understanding of whole food nutrition as it contributes to the prevention of illness and the promotion of optimal health. Students will learn how to conduct dietary and lifestyle assessments, and to give relevant, individualized nutritional advice to clients. The fundamentals of whole food nutrition, digestion, metabolism, and nutrition research are presented. Using nutritional therapy to improve various health conditions will be addressed. Curriculum covers macronutrients, micronutrients and phytonutrients. Current topics such as popular diets, organics, genetic modification and sustainable agriculture will be explored.

The certification course consists of each module plus a midterm, final exam, and a case study/research project. The tuition for the entire 100 hr. course is $1350.00, payable to Denton Massage School.
