Continuing Education
The Washington State Department of Health requires at least 16 hours of
continuing education courses every two years for renewal of a Massage
Practitioner's License.
Continuing education
classes are offered on a regular basis for graduates and current
massage therapists to broaden their knowledge and hone their hands-on
skills.
Course topics
include Professional Ethics, Hot Rock Massage, Lomi Lomi, Body Wraps
and Scrubs, Spa Certification, Aromatherapy, Active Isolated
Stretching, Polarity Therapy, and Nutrition for Bodyworkers.

Assessment for Common head, Neck and Upper Back problems”
This class will utilize Postural Indicators to help in dealing with and deciding the best method for Massage Practitioners to use for helping those clients. We will use Neuromuscular and trigger point methods and discuss other possible techniques. This is a highly interactive and informative 6 hour class providing ready to use information. A class not to miss.

Sports Massage: Membership in the Washington Sports Massage Team
This class provides the requirements for membership in the Washington Sports Massage Team, including the Calibration Hours. Attendees will learn specific techniques to be used with active participants on the day of activity. These techniques are quick and can be easily adapted to be incorporated with other bodywork styles. We will also address thermo-regulatory issues and cramp management techniques that can be experienced at sports venues.

Manual Ligament Therapy
Learn how to utilize the ligament system to release hyper-tense muscles and address pathologies. Students will learn techniques that have the results of deep tissue work, yet is gentle on client & therapist . Add MLT to your knowledge base & increase your income & level of energy!!

Personal Training Course
Fridays 10:00- 1:00 pm (5 weeks)
30 hour course with certification
Learn the basics of personal training in this ACE certified course encompassing principles of Kinesiology, Anatomy, Nutrition, Exercise Fitness and Training along with a hands-on internship side by side with a trainer. A great compliment to massage therapy and a dual licensure!

JOB OPPORTUNITY
Full or Part time employee team member wanted to join our team at our spa in Stanwood. Commision rate DOE and skill $21.50 to $25 hr plus bonus's and paid vacation/sick days, lets not forget tips. Will train in all treatments if needed, and give CEU's for them. We are open Mon to Sat, but rotate Sat
